The Story Behind Our New Tiger Graphic Release:
A story very few know... 2022, the Year of the Tiger, was a very transformative year for me as an individual and for FLYT Club as a whole. Finally the tides were turning and there was light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. The daily energy of figuring out how to simply survive was slowly transitioning to new ideas of growth and thriving. There was a confidence that came from knowing that we had survived and endured together.

Imagery of tigers were present all around me, symbols of power, strength, courage and protection. I tattooed tigers on my arm. And... at the very end of the year of the tiger, channelling this resilient energy, I was also gifted with the amazing news of the conception of my greatest light.. my daughter Tala!

For FLYT this time marked a new chapter. We welcomed a wave of new faces coming through the doors and some amazing coaches joined our crew. At all levels FLYT's goal has been to emit the quiet 'yin energy' of the Tiger, no ego, just confident in its strength, its offering, its path and place in the world. Grateful for the continued opportunity to be a protector and safe 'third place' for so many - - - to come as you are, striving to build strength and resilience in the presence of an amazing pack.

Talented local designer Jeff Punzalan @thejeffpunz was commissioned to capture this emergent energy at FLYT. With Jeff's martial arts background and connection to this city he was able to perfectly capture the grit and essence of this next chapter. Thank you so much Jeff!!

It almost feels wrong to post JJ in black and white because this member is such a colourful and vibrant energy to any class she attends. JJ is proof that at FLYT you don't need to be fit to get started, but you do need to start to get fit! 2 years and officially 200 classes in and she's pound for pound up there with some of our top athletes. Shout out to coach @itspaluna for helping every athlete find their individual strength. Proud to say it's sounds like she loves the gym as much as we love her.
